More informationYou arrive as a guest, and you are received as one. The Ngäbe-Buglé Comarca is self-governing indigenous territory, and Soloy is one of its gateways. Nothing about this day is built around a visitor's schedule: you walk when the community walks, eat what the community eats, and those who guide you are the ones who grew up on that trail. The path to Kiki waterfall crosses rivers and cuts through forest. Your Ngäbe guides know every stone of the route because they have walked it all their lives, and along the way they explain what they see: the plants they use, the names things carry in their language. On the return, the meal is shared and the afternoon stays in the village. The women weave chácaras from fibres they prepare themselves, and if you take one home, you buy it from the person who made it. The waterfall is the destination. It is not the reason.
